Poppy Scotland (Dumfries) Donation

Cashmaster International and Poppy Scotland (Dumfries) have forged a lasting partnership with the donation of a Cashmaster count-by-weight ‘cash counting’ machine, printer and coin sorter. The Sigma 170 and Zeta Zero Printer together will save volunteers hundreds of hours each year, allowing more time to be spent raising vital funds.

The Dunfermline branch of Poppy Scotland collected nearly £27,000 in donations last year and aims to increase that this year. The Cashmaster Sigma 170 can count the average contents of a collection tin in less than a minute. This will be a huge benefit to Christine and her volunteers.

Christine, Volunteer in Dunfermline, said

“The Cashmaster donated has saved us so much time this armistice. We could find ourselves counting for weeks but this has let us do it in just a few days, I raise money across the year and this product will save me so much time”.

Gordon McKie, CEO at Cashmaster International said

“We always learn about the amazing contributions people make to local communities, and when I heard about the hard work Christine does in Dunfermline, I had to step in to see how we at Cashmaster could help. I wish her all the best”.
